Prøveforelesning - cand. polit. Mikkel Nils M. Sara

UiT Norges arktiske universitet arrangerer ekstern disputas i auditoriet på Diehtosiida, Sámi allaskuvla, måndag 16. november 2015. Cand. polit. Mikkel Nils M. Sara holder prøveforelesning kl 11:15-12:00, og han vil offentlig forsvare avhandlingen “Siida ja siiddastallan / Å være en siida – om forholdet mellom siidatradisjoner og videreføringen av siidasystemet / Being siida – on the relationship between siida tradition and continuation of the siida system” kl 13:15 samme dag.

Cand. polit. Mikkel Nils M. Sara holder prøveforelesning over oppgitt emne for ph.d. –graden i humaniora og samfunnsvitenskap, studieretning samfunnsplanlegging og kulturforståelse:

“To assert that all of scientific practice is irreducible incompatible with indigenous models and practices demonstrates a selective reading of a vast and diverse literature and indicates a certain contradiction in the thesis. Focus more theoretically on the aspects of social theory and anthropology that allow for a contingent and relativistic understanding of social/ecological institutions like the siida”
