Gunvor Guttorm served as the rector of the college from 2015 to 2019. She currently works as a professor of duodji at the Sámi University College in Kautokeino, Norway. She has taught duodji at both the primary and secondary levels at colleges and universities. She has authored articles and books on duodji, some of which can be used as educational resources. Her area of interest has long been examining the connection between the knowledge inherent in the language and the actual production of duodji.
